A small church I frequently visit was struggling with the energy bill. The lead pastor is never the one doing the moment of tithes and offering, so you rarely see him asking for monetary help from the church unless they are struggling with certain bills... For a couple of weekends, the lead pastor and his wife exposed to the church that they needed help with paying off the electricity/gas bill, which had amounted to almost $5K due to the harsh winter we had and the bill kept increasing as the months passed. I spoke with my wife and we decided to give $160 (small amount when compared to what was needed, but I felt it in my heart and wanted to help). The following week, I did a project at a customer's house and without asking for anything extra, the homeowner liked my work so much that she gave me a tip of $220!). I thought this was really amazing and wanted to share it because it was such a great experience! God is always faithful!
